Nominal interest includes the inflation component. Real interest is the interest minus inflation. In Israel, a tax is imposed on the nominal interest.
Taxation
Interest on a non-linked deposit: 25% of the nominal interest. Interest on a linked deposit: 25% of the real interest rate + 15% on the linkage differences.
