Eligibility
A woman who gives birth who worked as an employee or self-employed and paid social security 10 out of 14 months, or 15 out of 22 months before the birth.
duration
Maternity allowance is paid for 15 weeks (105 days). For a mother who has worked for less than 12 months: 8 weeks.
amount
The maternity allowance is calculated according to the salary in the 3 months before the termination of employment, up to a ceiling (about NIS 49,000/month).
