A tax invoice is issued by an authorized dealer only. Allows the customer (if he is a licensed dealer) to deduct the VAT as an input tax.
Mandatory details on the invoice
- Dealer name and authorized dealer number
- date and serial number
- Description of the deal
- Amount before VAT, VAT amount, total amount
- Customer name and dealer number (over NIS 5,000)
