Import of goods directly to Eilat is exempt from VAT and part of the purchase taxes. The benefit only applies to goods that remain in Eilat.
Transfer to Israel
Goods imported to Eilat and transferred to the rest of Israel are subject to VAT and customs duties as if they were imported directly.
